HOW IT ALL STARTED
So how exactly did Synyster start? How did I even come up with that name? Well it's all simple really. It all started on a site called Buddy4u. My friend had showed it to me. At first, I just used it as an extra little thing for my AIM profile. It was filled with pages about my friends, random graphics I found on Myspace graphic sites, and heck, I even figured out how to get a background and change the scrollbar colors on that thing! I kept showing my mom, I was so excited haha. (Keep in mind, I was in about the beginning of 6th grade here.) Well, then my cousin Anthony wanted to make one and ended up deleting my page. Not gonna lie, I cried. Haha oh shame. So after that happened, I decided to learn how to make things like site buttons, AIM profiles, that things of that sort. I went on "share" with my first profile which was called something like xo::[SiMPLii]_[GORGEOUS]::ox. Haha, who knows, it's deleted now. That went nowwhere, and then I started x [ahmazing]_[beauty] x. People told me how good it was, lol sure. Then I went on to about three other sites with a personal friend of mine, Tiffany, and they actually went places. One called Beautiful Disaster* was our last, and with a third partner Hilary, when we decided we were done with Buddy4u. We made it on the all famous "Top 10" and were pretty happy haha. I tried to reopen that over the summer, but it didn't really work out.After that was all done, I decided to talk to a girl named Ines, who had a Freewebs. I thought "Oh cool, I'd like to do something like this, and move onto real websites eventually." So Ines, Hillary, and myself worked on a Freewebs for a while until Hillary and I decided to start one on our own. The one we worked on with Ines mysteriously vanished. While talking about it, we figured we'd ask Tiffany to join us on what became Obliteresquelyts. Funny name right? How it came to be, well it's pretty simple. We were thinking up names, and decided we wanted esque at the end. So I thought "Obliterate!" and Hillary goes "Obliteresque! It's perfect! Like obliterate your face." Haha, I don't know. Tiffany wanted to add the lyts at the end, and that's how it came to be. Unfortunately, Hillary got too busy to work on it anymore, and Tiffany wasn't that into it. So I continued it by myself until I saw that one of my affiliates Joe was offering hosting. He actually commented me about it, and that's how I started my next site.
Attention! Yes, that was the name. Attention.pill-pop.net. When I moved onto that site, I had a lot more expierence than before. It went really well and Joe taught me a lot of things. For instance, PHP includes, and how to install Cutenews. He was really an incredible host and was always nice about helping me with something. Unforunately, he didn't have time to run pill-pop anymore, though for good reason. He went off to focus more on college and other things. Good for him though. The hosting was still up for a few more months until I had to look for another host. And that my friends, is how I got here.
As you all know, I am hosted by my friend Viva, or "Amanda", at ourworkofart.com. That's where I am right now. But how did I get the name "Synyster"? It's simple. I was talking to Viva over AIM one day, trying to think of names. After giving up and simply looking at my screenname, I thought, "How about Synyster?!" And that is how it came to be. The Synyster in my screenname came simply from my love of Avenged Sevenfold's lead guitarist Synyster Gates, because I'm cool :].
