Blending

For this tutorial, I'll be using these two pictures of Pete Wentz:


1. Open up PSP8 and make a new document. Make it 255 x 240
2. Take the first picture and click Ctrl+L. Now, you see the picture there in the middle of the document. Do the same thing with the next picture.
3. After you do that, click the little move tool. Move the picture you just pasted as a new layer to the left. Move the other picture to the right. Now, make sure that some of the second picture is covering the first picture. It should look something like this:

4. Now, go to your eraser. Click the circle, shape, and change your settings to mine:

Leave everything else the same.
5. Now, start erasing around the second picture covering the first picture. Do that untill it looks like this:

Now, merge the layers, and do any cropping you may have to do.
6. Now add some text and whatever else you like. The font I used for "Pete Wentz" is called Poison. The finished product should look something like this:
