Blending

For this tutorial, I'll be using these two pictures of Pete Wentz:


1. Open up Photoshop and make a new document. Make it 256 x 240
2. Take the first picture and paste it into the new document you just made. Now, you see the picture there in the middle of the document. Do the same thing with the next picture.
3. After you do that, click the move tool. Move the picture you just pasted; the second picture, to the right. Move the other picture to the left. Now, make sure that some of the second picture is covering the first picture. It should look something like this:

4. Now, go to your eraser. Change your settings to mine:

5. Start erasing around the second picture, that is covering the first picture. Do that untill it looks like this:

Merge the layers, and do any cropping you may have to do.
6. To finish up, add some text and whatever else you like. The finished product should look something like this:
